Overview
In the latest version of Sign Made Easy, v1.21.9, we have implemented important security updates to our Salesforce Connected App as part of our managed package to align with Salesforce’s latest security guidelines.
Here’s a summary of what’s new!
Major Feature Updates
Salesforce Connected App Security Enhancements
● Enforced PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) for OAuth flows to
improve protection against authorization code interception.
● Updated configuration to comply with Enhanced Connected App /
External Client App (ECA) security standards.
● Ensured the Connected App is properly packaged and distributed via
managed package, as required by Salesforce.
● Improved overall OAuth security posture following Salesforce best practices
(secure authentication and controlled access).
Note: Increased security for integrations between Salesforce and external systems. No action required for existing users unless re-authentication is prompted.
