Sign Made Easy Release Notes: October '26 v1.26.3

Overview
In the latest version of Sign Made Easy, v1.26.3, we have introduced exciting new features and resolved several bugs to enhance users' experience.

Here’s a summary of what’s new!

Major Feature Updates

Custom Tag

Users can now create custom tags for Text, Number, and Dropdown field types by configuring tag properties, formatting, and predefined values according to their specific requirements. This provides greater flexibility and allows users to create reusable tags tailored to their document and business needs.


Activity

Sign Made Easy now supports Salesforce Activity creation for e-signature transactions. Users can track transaction-related activities directly within Salesforce, providing better visibility into the e-signature workflow and improving transaction tracking.

Sign Dashboard

Sign Dashboard has been introduced to provide a centralized view of e-signature transactions. Users can view transactions and their current statuses across all users or specific users, making it easier to monitor and manage signing activities from a single dashboard. 


Bulk Sign 

Sign Made Easy now supports Bulk E-Sign Transactions, enabling users to initiate multiple e-signature transactions simultaneously for selected Salesforce records. The system automatically creates individual transactions for each selected record, significantly simplifying high-volume signing workflows and reducing the need for manual transaction creation. 


Completion Certificate 

A Completion Certificate is now generated upon successful completion of an e-signature transaction. The certificate provides a record of the completed signing process and helps users maintain transaction completion details for tracking and audit purposes.


Enhancement

Support Read-Only in checkbox 

Added support for Read-Only and Default Value configurations for Checkbox fields. Senders can now set a checkbox with a predefined value before sending the transaction and optionally make it Read-Only, ensuring that the predefined value cannot be modified by the recipient during the signing process. 


SignDate/Time Tag

Introduced a SignDate/Time Tag that automatically captures and displays the date and time associated with the signing action, providing accurate signing information within the document. 


Text Case Formatting Support 

Added support for Uppercase, Lowercase, and Proper Case formatting for supported fields and tags, including Text, Name, Company, Email, and Text Area. This allows users to control the capitalization and presentation of field values according to their requirements.


Document Name on Sign Transactions 

The Document Name is now displayed on Sign Transactions, making it easier for users to identify and track documents associated with each transaction. 


Custom Sender Name 

Added support for customizing the “Via Sign Made Easy” name displayed in e-signature emails. Users can now configure a custom name according to their business or branding requirements, providing greater flexibility and a more personalized email-sending experience.

Bug Fixes 

Signed Document Reuse 

Improved support for reusing signed documents without re-parsing existing tags, ensuring that previously processed document tags are preserved and handled correctly when the document is reused.  

Tag Resizing at Different Zoom Levels

Fixed an issue where tags were not resizing correctly when the document scale was changed to 200% or higher, ensuring consistent tag sizing and positioning across different zoom levels
