Update v1.13.0

Overview


In the latest version of Sign Made Easy 1.13.0, we have upgraded to a new feature and fixed two bugs for a better user experience.

Here’s a summary of what’s new!




 

Need to reconfigure Sign Made Easy at the time of upgrading your package.

Major Feature Updates


Migrate Feature


When you are upgrading a package  below 1.10 then you need to migrate all your transactions by clicking on the migrate button.

Page layout


Create a custom button and click on the ‘Go to Page Layout’ button to be redirected to the object layout.

Permission set


In the General Settings tab, Show 3 users: Admin, System, and Guest. You can click the ‘Permission Set’ option to be redirected to the users.

Digital Signature


 A digital signature on a PDF ensures document authenticity, integrity, and non-repudiation by embedding a cryptographic certificate.

Secure your documents with our digital signature feature, ensuring authenticity, integrity, and tamper-proof verification directly within PDFs .

Edit recipient


You can  edit the recipient and make changes to it.

Create custom Field Date, Date/Time & Time


Sign Made Easy now supports customizable date and time inputs for added flexibility.

Transaction complete email received


We can add 3 recipients and send an email. If all 3 recipients have not completed the signing, no one receives the completion email.

Resend Email feature


The sign recipient status, you can see ‘Viewed,’ ‘Draft,’ and ‘Sent.’ You can resend the email to the same recipient.

Adding 4 new Url Parameter

  • Subject     = &sub

  • Message  = &msg

  • FileName = &fn

  • Save completed documents back to the Salesforce Record = &sb =true

  • Business Unit = &bu

Bug Fixes


Business unit storage limit exceeded error


Known Issue

The storage limit of the org is exceeded, but no error message is shown.

Resolved

 This issue has been fixed, and now all functionalities working correctly. 

Document Cloning issue from Sign Template


Known Issue

Enable Cloning toggle button is disabled, and ‘Save Completed Documents Back to the Salesforce Record’ checkbox is ticked. Document status is not updated in the account.

Permission Set For standard & Guest user


Known Issue

When we do not assign a permission set to a standard user, the error message shows ‘SME is not configured’ instead of ‘SME permission set is not assigned.

Cancel Transaction


Known Issue

When we create a transaction with one recipient and send an email, click on ‘View Document,’ and cancel the transaction from Salesforce, then complete the email without refreshing the page, the transaction is completed

Resolved

 This issue has been fixed, and now all functionalities working correctly. 

You need to reconfigure SME again at the time of upgrading your package.
