Major Feature Updates

Document Preview

Easily review your document in its final layout before sending it to recipients. Verify content, format, and accuracy to ensure a flawless signing experience.

Document Summarization

Automatically generate concise summaries of lengthy documents while retaining key information and meaning, helping users quickly grasp the most important insights.

Form Field Recognition

When uploading PDFs with form fields, they are automatically detected and converted into SME tags for a seamless signing process.

Note: Each form field can be assigned to only one recipient per transaction record.

Major Enhancements

Business Unit – Merge Field Support

Use merge fields in email subjects and messages to personalize communication automatically.

Write-Back Configuration – Child to Parent Support

Write-back now supports updates from child to parent records (up to five levels deep) for consistent data synchronization.

Sign-Setup Configuration – Non-Admin Restriction

Access to sign-setup configuration is now limited to admin users, ensuring secure management of signing settings.

Basic Tag Enhancement – Radio Button Tag

Added support for radio buttons, allowing users to select a single option from multiple choices for precise data capture.

Disable Sign Parameter

Control e-signature functionality using SME Button URL parameters:

DS=1 → Disable e-signature option

DS=0 → Enable e-signature option

DSM → Display a custom message when e-signature is disabled

These parameters can also be applied conditionally for flexible workflows.

Bug Fixes

Write-Back for Date, Time, and Date-Time Fields

Known Issue: 

Write-back was not functioning correctly for Date, Time, and Date-Time fields.

Resolved Issue: 

Functionality restored; updates now save and reflect correctly in target records.

Send Now Parameter Notifications

Known Issue: 

Expiration and reminder notifications failed when the “Send Now” parameter was true.

Resolved Issue: 

Notifications now trigger accurately, ensuring recipients receive timely alerts.

Write-Back Status Update

Known Issue: 

When a write-back tag was added with “Save Document Back” selected and “Enable Document Cloning” enabled, the Write-Back Status field was not updating.

Resolved Issue: 

The Write-Back Status field on the Recipient Object now updates correctly after transaction completion.
